dissect
During this phase, I like to conduct needs analyses to find out who the audience is that I'm working with, to identify the learning goals, and to determine the learning objectives. This way I can design a learning solution that will meet the learners' needs and close any gaps.
design
It is during this phase where the greatest ideas are applied to create a learning solution. Action mapping, collaborating with the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)/stakeholders, and creating design documents/storyboards are all part of the detailed, design process.
develop
With the use of an authoring tool, the design comes to life! The interactions, audio, images, and text are developed, resulting in a learning solution. I can assess the learners' results with a learning management system (LMS) and reflect on what went well and what could be improved on.
