About Me

"The key to success is to appreciate how people learn, understand the thought process that goes into instructional design, what works well, and a range of different ways of achieving goals."

- Tim Buff, CEO and Chief Learning Strategist, CM Group

As a Senior Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer, I create engaging, learning experiences that incorporate instructional design theories and methods. I have more than six years of experience designing, developing, and delivering Instructor-Led and Virtual Instructor Led-training  to a variety of learners.

I AM

I am an analytical thinker. With a degree in Mathematics and Master's in Mathematics Education, I take pride in my problem-solving abilities. I create clear and measurable learning objectives that reflect the goals of the project. I use action mapping to create a logical sequence of how the content should be displayed.

I am a tech enthusiast. I am proficient with the following tools: Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, Camtasia, Vyond, Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Suites, Adobe Suite, Lessonly LMS, and HTML. I am always looking to learn new tech tools and add them to my projects!

I am a project manager. I have good time management skills. I chunk my projects into smaller tasks, so that I complete them by/before their deadlines. I keep track of meetings and project deadlines in an e-calendar.

I am a communicator. I am comfortable conversing with others and asking questions to build relationships/gain knowledge/seek clarity on content needed for a project.

I am a continuous learner. I enjoy the process of learning, and I value constructive feedback during any of the ADDIE/SAM model stages.

I am balanced. When I'm not working, I enjoy running, swimming, hiking, skiing, and doing group exercise classes. I also have a big sweet tooth and love to bake chocolate-chip cookies.
